How is breast augmentation with lift performed?

Dr. Pham performs breast enhancement surgery as an outpatient procedure using general anesthesia. After making the incisions, he creates a pocket to insert the breast implant. Next, he shapes the breast tissue to ensure the nipple is in the desired position on the breast. Dr. Pham may reduce the size of the areola as well.

Once he has created the desired breast shape, Dr. Pham tightens the skin, removes the excess, and closes the incisions with dissolvable sutures below the skin. In some cases, he uses fat transfer to further enhance the shape of the breast or cleavage area. Once Dr. Pham has completed the procedure, he places protective tape over the incisions and wraps the breasts with a supportive surgical bra.

How long does it take to heal from a breast lift with implants?
